Mires in Jewish autonomous region and factors of their formation

The author has made the analysis of physical - geographic factors causing wetlands formation and territorial distribution in Jewish Autonomous Region. He shows that the only way of obtaining and active use of new lands in the territory is drainage reclamation of the wetlands. These agrotechnical measures can significantly improve the efficiency of agricultural production in the area.
