Botanical composition and stages of abandoned land overgrowing in arid conditions of Buryatia

The assessment of abandoned land overgrowing in dry steppe conditions of Buryatia have been presented. The larger part of abandoned land is found out to be in the beginning stages of overgrowing with insignificant bio-variety. The rate and schemes of steppe vegetation recoverery while overgrowing are determinated by soil-climatic conditions and also by large plowed areas with absence of semination.
