A marriage contract in Russian and foreign family law

Nowadays, the number of Russian couples entering into a marriage contract is still extremely small. If in Europe and the USA, where this institution has existed for more than a hundred years, at least 70% of married couples conclude formal contracts, then in Russia this figure does not exceed 3-5%, and among them the majority are those who are going to get divorced. and simply seeks to avoid lengthy litigation over the division of property (a marriage contract simply turns into an amicable agreement between persons who, in fact, are no longer spouses).
