Abrek Zelimkhan and the information about him presented in the documents of the Russian law enforcement authorities at the beginning of the 20th century

Based on the study of archival documents the article considers the activity of law enforcement authorities of the Russian Empire at the beginning of the 20 th century concerning the search for abrek Zelimkhan. The article particularly focuses on the problematic issues of the activity, i.e. un-cooperation, insufficient exchange of significant criminal intelligence.
