British national front: the problem of ideology (1970's-1980's)

This article is devoted to the problem of ideology of the National Front, the major British radical rightwing political movement of 1970s 1980s. Special attention is given to the racist component of the ideology, its connection with anti Semitism and animosity towards ethnic minority immigrants, typical for such political movements, which became the National Front trademark. Besides, the author analyzes the transformation of the National Front ideology in 1980s in view of its leaving the countrys political scene.
