The Buryat intelligency and the ethnic issue

This article highlights the history of the Buryat people’s struggle for a national autonomy as a part of the Russian state. It shows the leading role of national intelligency in the solution of the «Buryat-Mongolian» problem at the beginning of the XXth century.
