The Buryat national units as a part of the Asian cavalry division (19191920)

This article is devoted to the Buryat national units, which were a part of the Asian Cavalry Division in the 1919-1920s. On the basis of archival materials and memoirs of contemporaries, the article reveals the military and political situation in Transbaikalia, the causes and prerequisites of the origin of the Buryat national units in the white troops of ataman G.M. Semenov.
