Purpose: Consideration of separate legal and organizational aspects of activity of the Russian legal profession in the late eighties - the beginning of the 90th years of the XX century. Methodology: Historical and legal and formal-legal methods and method of the included supervision were applied. Results: In work separate aspects of the organization and activity of legal profession and also professional activity of lawyers in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Russian Federation in the late eighties - the beginning of the 90th years of the XX century are considered.
