Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich in Russian historiography of Nikolai's time (1825-1855)

In the article an attempt is undertaken to investigate the major versions of the study of the period of the reign of the second Romanov in Russia's Historiography of Nickolai's time. The epoch of Alexei Mikhailovich was of great interest for professional historians, who regarded him as a central figure of the Moscow State of the XVIIc.
