The objectives and content of the Chinese dream and The Belt and Road policies

The study considers two Chinese policies: the Chinese Dream of a Great Revival of the Chinese People and the Belt and Road Initiative. The transformation of the concept of the Chinese Dream is reviewed. The author examines the reference to these policies in various sources. It is concluded that China actively applies the policy of Westernization. The adaptability of China allowed it to borrow the best Western practices and thereby reduce the gap in relation to the leading powers. In the last twenty years, the Chinese policies have been aimed at technological modernization. The examination of both Confucianism and Marxism makes it possible to reveal the link between the latter and Westernization. The strategy for the above-mentioned policies can be projected by other states. It will eliminate the exclusive nature of China in future. The rivalry between such great powers as the United States, Russia, China and the European Union can lead to the fact that China will replace the United States one day, and the concept of the Chinese Dream will replace the American Dream as well. In the author’s opinion, there will be a new world where Russia and China will be the leaders by 2049, and the Chinese Dream and the Belt and Road policies will contribute to it.
