The aim of this article is to compose a list of basic values and «antivalues» of French and Russian axiological worldviews. It represents a verbal and conceptual paradigm which was determined by the concepts-constants «good»/«le bien» and «evil»/«le mal». The analysis is based on the methods of composing a list of basic values and «antivalues» and finishes with a description of a linguistic experiment.
