Value orientations of the Russian statehood: history and contemporaneity

The author of the article thinks through the value orientations that underpin the Russian statehood in the past and at the relevant time. The author gives reasons for new fundamental ways of rethinking value bases of the organization of social activity of Russians in the modern Russian Federation. The author issues from the desire to see in the modern Russian Federation the legal statehood that is based on the current Constitution. The author views such institutions directly coming out of the current Constitution as the rule-of-law state, federal state, the provision that the person and his\her rights and freedoms are the supreme value. These institutions and values, not shifting to the theory of the special path of Russia's development, at the same time, they are among the human values.
