Price ceiling as a method of sanction pressure on Russian oil export

The world is going through a period of high turbulence associated with the restructuring of the entire system of world economic relations, built in the middle of the twentieth century. Currently, global energy markets, including the oil market, are experiencing significant difficulties, which is provoked by sanctions against the Russian economy and energy supplies. The lists of participants in the oil market are being revised, the directions of deliveries are changing. The article discusses the consequences of restrictions on Russian oil exports. With the Russian oil embargo in December 2022, it becomes important to conjecture and evaluate Russia's response options.
