Centaurea pseudoscabiosa Boiss. et Buhse (Asteraceae) - a new species for the flora of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

The article for the first time shows the species Centaurea pseudoscabiosa Boiss. et Buhse, discovered in the vicinity of Leketag and Bashkend villages of the Julfa district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. There are 70 species in the Caucasus, 29 species in Azerbaijan and 22 species in the flora of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Previously C. pseudoscabiosa was not given for the flora of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Materials collected during 2016-2017 by the route method. Field research was carried out by conventional floristic and geobotanical methods. To study the species composition of vegetation, the works of P.D.Yaroshenko and L.G.Ramensky. The bioecological and phytocen-ological features of the species have been studied and the coordinates of the location of the villages of Leketag and Bashkend have been determined using the Garmin GPS 60 device.
