Open education centers as a model for the promotion of Russian education abroad: concept, characteristics, implementation

The formation of a language state policy designed to address issues of national self-identification must consider the preservation and popularization of the Russian language not only within the framework of the scientific cultural humanitarian environment, but at the level of state national interests. To date, projects aimed at creating an educational Russian space abroad with accompanying ethno-cultural components, the development and implementation of the necessary measures and activities within their framework, receive insufficient attention. The popularization of the Russian language, its support in the modern world community as a competitive one, at the same time, is one of the most effective tools for strengthening the positions of the Russian Federation abroad, and is rightfully included in a number of areas of the state policy of the Russian Federation that meet the standards adopted in the international arena in establishing equal relations between foreign partners. The cumulative consolidated work of state authorities, non-governmental and public organizations, foundations, educational organizations and local centers can bring the task of supporting the Russian language outside of Russia closer to an effective solution.
