Prices and pricing for medicines and medical services in the Far East of the Russian Federation in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

The article presents the results of a study of the behavior of prices for medicines and medical services in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District in the pandemic period. The state of the pharmaceutical market in the Far East has been determined, the factors hindering its development have been identified. It was found that the greatest price reaction for medicines and medical services during the pandemic in most Far Eastern regions occurred in April-May 2020, as well as in March 2023. It was determined that the volatility of relative prices for medicines in the first two years of the pandemic did not significantly increase compared to the pre-pandemic period, however, in 2022, under the influence of There has been a significant increase in sanctions restrictions in almost all Far Eastern regions.
