Censorship of literary creativity in terms of Stalinism

The article presents an analysis of documentary materials covering the transition from the party censorship to the state one, which became the foundation of the system established by Joseph Stalin. The author shows the process of registration of rigid oversight over the written word. The censorship in the mass media, in the press and in the sphere of culture and art in general became the tool of the control. The author also notes that special services (NKVD) were actively involved in the work with writers. Censorship of the press and literature has created so-called Staliniana - the myth about the leader, which survived its creator.
