Ideas about the relationship between cardiac and cerebral pathology are constantly expanding and being refined. Changes in the function and structure of the heart muscle in response to acute cerebral ischemia are considered within the framework of cerebrocardial syndrome - a complex complex of metabolic, structural and electrophysiological shifts that occur in the myocardium in response to acute cerebral ischemia. The development of cerebrocardial syndrome negatively affects the course and outcome of ONMC, and also poses a threat to the patient's life due to the possibility of sudden cardiac death due to asystole. Diagnosis of cerebrocardial syndrome based on data from only one electrocardiography is insufficient, since changes in the regulation of the heart caused by stroke are not taken into account. ECG does not allow to determine with certainty the nature of changes in the heart muscle in various extracardial pathology.
