We further developed the hypothesis concerning common and transbarrier (hystohematic barriers) cerebrospinal immunity in transmission pantropic viral infections. Common humoral and cellular immunity is establish not to exclude the possibility of penetrating virulent neurotrophic viruses such as tick-borne encephalitis pathogen through hematoencephalic barrier and developing acute viral infection or viral persistence with the formation of chronic or slow infection process. This fact should be taken into account while prevention of the tick-borne encephalitis by specific inactivated vaccines.
