Church architecture of Vladimir of the XVIII century

Бесплатный доступ

In the first half of the XVIII century in Vladimir, architects continued to follow the traditions of the Naryshkin style (Nikolo-Galeiskaya Church), in the middle of the century Baroque forms joined the architecture (the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Bogolyubov), by the end of the century the transition to classicism was realized (Nikolo-Kremlin Church). As a result of the study, the characteristic features of the temple architecture of Vladimir of the XVIII century were revealed: the three-part structure of the temple of the "ship" type, as well as the provincial character of the decor - rough heavy platbands.
