Church singing issues of the second half of the 19th century on the pages of “Kiev diocesan gazette”

The coverage of church singing issues on the pages of the official newspaper of the Kiev diocese, which was regularly published several times a month from 1861 to 1918, not only represents this area, but also demonstrates the degree of involvement of parishes and theological educational institutions in the problems of church singing art of that time. Against the background of the daily agenda, historical research, theological works and other topical issues of the church life of the ancient Kiev Metropolis and the Dnieper Ukraine as a whole, the pages of the publication largely contain information from other dioceses of the Russian Church, including the church singing activities of various parishes from America to Yakutia.
