Church rules regarding worship and liturgical piety as part of the legal system of the orthodox church

The article presents the result of the analysis of the Canonical Corpus of the Orthodox Church in order to identify the rules governing worship and liturgical piety. Rules relating to worship are understood to be Church legal norms that regulate the external procedure for the celebration of worship, rules of liturgical piety are Church legal norms that regulate behavior during worship and / or preparation for it. As a result of this analysis, the author proposes his own primary classification of church-legal norms regarding worship and liturgical piety. At the end of the article, the question is raised about the need to single out these church legal norms as a separate branch of church law for further study. In this regard, it is proposed to consider church liturgical activity as the sphere of regulation of the indicated church-legal branch, and as the subject of the same branch - a group of intra-church relations related to the liturgical activity of the Church.
