Chan Buddhism and Vajrayana in martial arts

The article discusses the community of philosophical, methodological, and psychotechnical principles of Chan (Zen) Buddism and Tantric Vajrayana Buddhism in Dzogchen esoteric tradition, which had influenced the methods of psychophysical training and psychic self-regulation in traditional martial arts martial arts of the peoples of Inner and Northeastern Asia. We analyze the religious and philosophical foundations of the Buryat-Mongolian School of Arts.Shonyn-Basha. in connection with the historical and cultural synthesis and interaction of national religion of Buryats and Mongols Tengrism (.religion of Eternal Blue Sky.) and Northern Buddhism of Ekayana (.One Vehicle.) as an integral unity of Vajrayana (Tantra) and Mahayana philosophy and practice. As a result of this interaction and synthesis in the era of Genghis Khan a specific Tengri-Buddhist civilization was developed, which united the peoples of Inner Asia - Buryats, Mongols, Kalmyks and other Mongol-speaking peoples, as well as Turkic-speaking Tuvinians.
