Private investor in the Russian securities market

The article considers the role and significance of private investors' investments both for the Russian economy and for the Russian financial market. Analyzed data on the number of private clients in the securities market. The existing problems that investors face when choosing financial instruments are highlighted. The author argues the need for state regulation in the matter of attracting private investors to the securities market.
