Frequency and temperature dependences on low-frequency shear elasticity of liquids

Viscous elastic characteristics of several liquids have been measured by the acoustical resonance method with application of piezoquartz resonator at different frequencies and temperatures. It is shown that the real shear modulus decreases with frequency and temperature for usual liquids, while it is conversely for polymer liquids.
