The Chelyabinsk Mechanic-Machine-Building Institute in the first post-war years

Article is devoted very important stage in the history of the South Ural State university, one of the largest high schools of the country. In it the most difficult problems which the Chelyabinsk mechanic-machine-building institute in the first post-war years faced are considered. On concrete examples it is shown both positive and negative historical experience of the decision of the material, personnel, organizational questions which have risen before CMMI and many other high schools of the country during this period. A role of the director CMMI of I.M.Hmelnitskiy in development of the institute, the relation of administration of high school and the party-state structures, some features of preparation of engineering stuff in the USSR in 1940-1950 are analyzed.
