The article justifies the indissoluble connection of human capital with spirituality and morality. It is shown that without these components the human capital becomes a utilitarian socio-economic function of a person as an employee and on a par with the concept of "human resources". The authors argue that in the last few decades the quality of human capital is changing, and one cannot say that these changes are positive. The future of humanity and Russia depends on not just the creative class, but also on what moral and ethical principles its representatives will have. The authors believe that this is the key moment of the human capital development in the world civilization in general and Russia in particular.
Human capital, intellectual capital, creative capital, moral and ethical principles, human resources
