Human potential and standards of living of the population: functional relationships

The article presents the results of a correlation analysis to study the functional relationships between two groups of indicators: the standard of living and human potential. As a result, the strong influence of the welfare of the population, the level of unemployment and socio-economic inequality on such components of human potential as life expectancy, natural population growth, the spread of alcoholism and drug addiction, and the crime rate was confirmed.
