Purpose: The analysis of ethic and legal aspects of legal activity in the context of a research of activity of the prominent domestic lawyer B.L. Zheleznov. Methodology: The author used a legallistic and historical and legal method. Results: In article the course of life and a professional path of the prominent domestic lawyer B.L. Zheleznov, and also ethic and legal bases of legal activity is analysed. Novelty/originality/value: Article has the high scientific value as is one of the first works devoted to the considered problem.
