“Economic human”: research traditions and innovations of modern analysis

The article examines the key moments of the evolution of the “economic human" concept in the social theory. The necessity of avoiding excessive rationalization of economic behavior and its integration into the widersocio-cultural context is substantiated. The author provides a philosophical interpretation of the modern model of the “economic human" as an actor of virtual social communication.
