«Man» in the modern economy

The article is devoted to historical retrospective of consistent change of man’s posi tion and role in a social life and production. It is shown that the achievement of high efficiency of the economy is possible only with relevant management based on the results of systematic research with regard to social and cultural characteristics of the countries. It considers the main determinants of the condition and trends in implementation of the “human factor” provisions in management of organizational and economic systems.
