Calculations of two-dimensional nonequilibrium supersonic flow around the frontal shield of the re-entry vehicle using the open-source solver hy2Foam, created for modeling highenthalpy flows that usually occur around vehicles during entry into the atmosphere, have been performed. The task is to verify the software code for the calculation of strongly nonequilibrium flows, characteristic also for Venus atmospheric re-entry. Numerical calculations within the framework of solver verification were performed for the ExoMars landing spacecraft under conditions of entry to Mars and conditions of the shock tube experiment.
