Number of black sea zooplankton on the north-eastern shelf: seasonal dynamics

Бесплатный доступ

The dynamics of the abundance of the most abundant representatives of gelatinous macrozooplankton in the Black Sea is considered in different periods after the introduction of the ctenophores Mnemiopsis leidyi and Beroe ovata in order to study the seasonal changes in their population densities, to track their relationship and interannual differences. The dynamics of the number of ctenophores and jellyfish Aurelia aurita in connection with seasonal and interannual fluctuations in water temperature is also discussed.
