The number of urban population of the Ural in accordance with preliminary results of All-Union census of 1937

The article considers the analysis of the number of urban population of the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions on the basis of preserved material records of All-Union census of January 6, 1937. The author defines the scale and considers the reasons for discrepancy between census data and the number of population of 1936.
