Transosseous osteosynthesis for treatment of patients with olecranon fractures accompanied by dislocations of forearm bones

The work deals with the problem of treatment of patients with dislocation fractures in the elbow zone. The clinical-and-statistical characteristic of the patients analyzed is given. The peculiarities of transosseous osteosynthesis with the Ilizarov fixator are demonstrated for the olecranon injuries of different types. Long-term anatomic-and-functional results of the patients are analyzed. The conclusion is made about high effectiveness of the proposed techniques of transosseous osteosynthesis in treatment of patients with the olecranon fractures.
