The article is an attempt of the interpretation of the novel «Treasure island» by R.L. Stevenson. First, this interpretation is founded on the disclosure of the inner value and symbolic connections of the work. Second, the description of the imaginative frame of Stevenson's novel makes clear its adventure fictitious mechanism, which provokes a relevant readers' behaviour.
