What is the quality of life in a globalized world? (About the international conference on the quality of life in the BRICS countries)

This article examines the main challenges for the BRICS countries regarding quality of life as a broad concept in the context of the OECD Better Life Initiative 2011. Special attention is paid to such global issues of developing countries as availability of drinking water, population growth, level of education, development of health protection and social security.
