Corporate raiding: what does it mean

Raiding (eng. Reider - raid, raid) - hostile takeover, interception of operational management or property of an enterprise with the help of a specially initiated business conflict. The purpose of corporate raid is, as a rule, the redistribution of someone else’s real estate, and therefore it brings huge profits to the invaders.
