The Chukchi of Yakutia: dynamics of demographic indicators in the 1959-1989

On the basis of primary sources, the article analyses the population dynamics and the demographic structure of the Chukchi living in Kolymskoe village of Nizhnekolymsky District - the only place of their compact residence in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the second half of the XX century.
