Digital economy and data management in the People’s Republic of China

In the era of the digital economy, data has become a new factor of production and a key activator for the development of the production sector. At the same time, the problems of collecting, storing and exchanging data are becoming more complex and profound. For this reason, the task of effectively managing the entire data lifecycle has become highly relevant, as a result of which the value of data is expected to multiply in many areas. The dynamics of development of data application led to the emergence of models for assessing the level of data management maturity and the effective methodology, which provided the basis for new ideas, methods and technologies for data management in the digital economy. In this regard, experience in creating corporate information systems is in demand, the accumulation of which was accompanied by the accumulation of successful solutions to a large number of productions, logistics, market, financial and other problems. This required the use of big data processing methods, cloud computing, the Internet of things and other new information technologies. As a result of the efforts made, various models for implementing the task of transition to a digital economy have emerged. Applying effective data management models and creating an appropriate information structure can raise the level of data management and provide real value to the data. The article outlines conceptual provisions in the field of data management and experience in solving relevant problems, examines various models and technologies, and analyzes factors influencing the development of the digital economy.
