Digital radiography. Applications on the northern European main gas pipeline, advantages and disadvantages

A comparative analysis of the performance of radiographic control of welded joints of gas pipelines in difficult climatic conditions on a roll film Agfa Structurix D7 and on the digital radiography system «Transcan» with a flat-panel detector. The advantages and disadvantages of the equipment are shown.
