Digitalization of the Russian agro-industrial complex: experience and development prospects

This article is devoted to the analysis of digital transformation processes in the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. The paper examines the tools for improving the efficiency of agricultural production through the introduction of modern information technologies. Special attention is paid to the practical experience of PJSC Rusagro Group of Companies in developing and applying its own digital solutions aimed at optimizing business processes and increasing productivity. The article discusses the key performance indicators of the organization in the agricultural sector. The dynamics of these indicators over a certain period of time is analyzed and the impact of applied IT projects on the achieved results is indicated. The final part of the paper summarizes the results of the research, examines the strategic goals and objectives facing the development of the Russian agro-industrial complex until 2030, taking into account the need for further digitalization of the industry to ensure the country’s food security and increase its competitiveness in the global market.
