Digitalization and development of regional economic systems

The article discusses methodological approaches to determining the essence of the process of digitalization of the economy, the content of the concept of "digital economy" and "digital transformation of economic systems". The purpose of the study is to identify objective factors, to describe the patterns that determine the qualitative change in the regional economic systems of Russia in the conditions of increased sanctions pressure. The main direction of creating a chain of digital values in the RES is considered; prospects for changing business models in the process of digitalization of the regional economy and its transition to digital production of fundamentally new products.
