Digitalization of the economy and its impact on individual sectors of the economy

Currently, the world is facing global challenges that require a radical transformation of national economies, including their technological modernization and structural restructuring. This is especially true for our country, which has a multiplicity of economic sectors and a different speed of their transformation. The article analyzes the process of digitalization of the economy, assesses its penetration into various sectors of the Russian economy. It is noted that digitalization is at a relatively early stage in most sectors. The authors note that the digital gap in the level of digital technology development exists both between industries and within each of them - between the leaders of this process and outsider enterprises.
