Digitalization of the economy and its impact on the development of accounting

This article is devoted to digitalization technologies in accounting. The definition of "digitalization in accounting" is given. The main directions for the development of digitalization are determined. It is concluded that for the successful and efficient operation of the enterprise, it is necessary to introduce new technologies that simplify accounting, ensure the security of information and data of the enterprise, and also reduce the financial and labor costs of the organization.
