Digitalization as the next stage of informatization of small and medium-sized businesses in the agricultural sector of Russia and China

Recently, digital, information and telecommunications resources have become widespread in the Russian Federation and the world, and the processes of various spheres of society, including agriculture, are being actively digitized. The article deals with the digitalization of small and medium-sized businesses in the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation and China. It is noted that China has actually outstripped the digitalization of the Russian Federation in small, medium and large businesses. Analytical assessments in the field of digitalization by Russian and Chinese experts allow us to refine the forecasts for digitalization for the next 2-3 years in the context of two global pandemics: COVID-19 and African swine fever.
