Digitalization of the processes of monitoring economic cycles and the impact on crises

The use of advanced digital technologies to improve various processes indicates the expediency of digitalizing the process of monitoring macroeconomic indicators, fluctuations and crises in the economy. Digital technologies contribute to a significant increase in the speed of managerial decision-making at the state level and prompt and competent response to changes in the country’s economic situation. The importance of expanding knowledge about the possibility of using digital technologies and the introduction of innovative approaches in the process of monitoring, forecasting and regulating the amplitude of economic cycles is determined. The importance of developing and implementing an integrated tracking and control system is highlighted, which will allow timely identification, analysis and prediction of fluctuations and crises affecting various aspects of the country’s development. The research is based on scientific papers reflecting the characteristics, classifications, causes of other crises and economic cycles, as well as methods and tools used to identify economic activity declines. The role of digitalization of the process of monitoring economic development is revealed; the main subsystems of the integrated monitoring system are identified; the concepts of “new digital tools” and “digital models” are clarified; a model for implementing the process of digitalization of monitoring economic cycles and the impact on crises at the state level is developed; the sequence of state actions based on the use of digital monitoring is determined; an algorithm for stabilizing macro-level economic processes is developed the main components of the integrated system of digital monitoring of economic cycles applied at the macro level are identified; a system for estimating the speed of decision-making is compiled to smooth the amplitude of economic fluctuations based on the observed signals. Digitalization of monitoring of economic cycles and the impact on crises will make it possible to respond to changes in a timely manner and apply economic regulation tools more effectively, which will increase Russia’s economic stability and improve the quality of life of the country’s citizens.
