This article identifies the need for stockpiling to carry out its business continuity. The relevance of the importance of reserves and their role in the activities of the enterprise are described. The concept of "inventory management" is considered. The information technologies used in solving logistic problems of inventory management at the enterprise are analyzed, and the implementation of automation of inventory management processes in Russia at enterprises is analyzed.
