Digitalization of production as the main tool for successful business

This paper describes the process of digitalization of average Russian manufacturing companies. The purpose of this study is to develop the digitalization of production and its effectiveness for a successful business. The methods for analyzing the data array, which were based on the regulatory and legislative acts of the Russian Federation on the issues under study, served as the methodological basis; systematization of the results of analytical, review and specialized reports on the performance indicators of organizations in the Russian Federation; comparison of empirical information obtained as a result of research work. The use of these methods is aimed at the most in-depth and comprehensive study of the problem. A situation has been modeled indicating the need for digitalization in production, a solution has been shown that will bring a positive result, increase the company’s revenues and optimize its business processes. The essence and variety of business processes that often exist in Russian manufacturing organizations are considered. The problem areas that such organizations most often encounter, and which require automation through the introduction of modern technologies, are described and illustrated. The article reflects the features of the internal structure and production inherent in Russian factories, and analyzes the potential that digitalization has. Recommendations for improving the business process under study have been developed and the economic feasibility of using modern technologies in general and the specific option proposed in the study to optimize the work of a production organization has been substantiated.
