The article outlines the current problems of digitalization in the field of education. The main directions of the application of digitalization in education are also analyzed, the characteristics of the digital educational environment are given, the advantages and disadvantages of digitalization of education are highlighted. The authors conclude that the digitalization of education is a step into the future that will change not only the content of educational courses, but also the presentation of information.
